The Health Curve
Introduction
Introduction to the podcast, who this is for, and what we're aiming to cover.
Hello, and welcome to The Health Curve Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Jason Arora. I'm a physician and public health scientist by background, and I've spent my career working to improve healthcare access and quality around the world.
If there is one thing I have learned in all my work, it is that health literacy is the foundation for better health. So in that spirit, the aim of this podcast is to demystify and simplify common health, wellness, and public health topics to help you navigate your health confidently. Our goal is to provide clear, scientifically backed insights, to cut through the noise and confusion, and to help tackle health misinformation.
In doing so, we hope to address health topics that you may be curious about or may need some help with, but don't know where to turn. We also hope to raise awareness of health issues that impact specific communities and what we can all do to help. In our podcast, we feature expert guests who share valuable knowledge, advice and insights from their many, many years of experience.
The truth is that we can no longer simply just rely on health care or our public health systems as we know them, on their own, to take care of all of this for us. And so this is about empowering you with the information that will help you navigate your health journey better. Please note that the content of this podcast is intended for general information purposes only, and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice.
